Since winning season 3 of American Idol, Fantasia has become a powerhouse in the world of R&B.

After releasing five highly successful studio albums, the singer set out this year to switch up her style a little bit and release a jazz-inspired Christmas album.

Trust us, for anyone who has had a chance to hear Christmas After Midnight, it's pretty obvious that Fantasia's risk has resulted in a big reward. In addition to collaborating with CeeLo Green on "Baby, It's Cold Outside," Fantasia has managed to put a unique spin on several Christmas classics, including Donny Hathaway's "This Christmas," "Silent Night," Merry Christmas Baby," Mel Torme's iconic "The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)," and many more.

The album also set off a nationwide tour, which wrapped up just this week in Fantasia's home state of North Carolina. While she was preparing to finish up her tour, we had the privilege of sitting down with the soulful singer. Listen in as she talks about being a blessing for her fans, friends, and family.

We also heard Fantasia briefly talk about her future, including the possibility that we may soon see her on tour with Brandy and Jazmine Sullivan.
