Emmy's Nominees Diversity Shines in 2017

25 People of Color Scored Emmy Nominations This Year

Now if we can get the Oscar's to catch up with the Emmy's.  For the third year in a row, a record number of actors/actresses of color scored nominations in the upcoming Emmy Awards.  The difference between Oscars (movies) and Emmys (TV) are format.  And while there may not be much diversity of the big screen, in our homes, we are getting versatile entertainment.  This will be the 69th edition of the annual award show.  It will air live September 17th, with Stephen Colbert as host.
